Mahama: We must provide youngsters with tools, talents to thrive in a fast-changing globalized environment.

John Dramani Mahama, who served as president of Ghana in the past, has advocated for the creation of conditions that are conducive to the growth of individuals' talents.


According to the most prominent member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), it is critical to provide today's kids with the resources, knowledge, and abilities they need to flourish in a globalized world that is always shifting and evolving.


During an engagement in Lynchburg, Virginia, in the United States, the former President of Ghana stated that "We must collectively work to create an enabling environment for the optimal development of the talents of the youth; equip them with the tools and skills they need to thrive in this fast-changing globalized world; and to encourage them to take an active role in the governance of their countries."


In addition to this, he reprimanded state institutions in African countries and other developing countries to carry out their duties in accordance with principles of equity and equity.


"The concerns and challenges of violence, unemployment, gender, corruption, education, health, poverty, and hunger in Africa and many other developing countries are well documented. This is true for many of these countries.


"What is relatively less discussed is the capacity of the institutions we have established and mandated to ensure that government fulfills its social contract to the people in the spirit of fairness, justice, inclusiveness, and absolute accountability," said John Dramani Mahama. While he was in the United States of America, the NDC presidential candidate for 2020 was presented with the Global Leadership Award as a token of appreciation for his leadership.
